Ciao Osteria. 2019 “Super Tuscan” - jammy, bold, sweet — 3 years ago
When in the Azores drink… lovely Azorean whites, especially from Pico. Like w many Portuguese whites ( & reds), a blend- of what, I don’t know ( probably Verdelho). Salty, volcanic, & some serious yellow fruits. Bought in local supermarket for about 18$. Paired w local Sao Jorge cheese, local cured ham, & artisanal sesame crackers. Damn. — 3 months ago
The Sun Inn. Lighter end of Promitivo but well balanced, good with red meat, and very drinkable. — 7 months ago

Light ruby with a narrower brighter rim , just hinting at garnet . More floral and lighter red fruit , with strawberry , raspberry and light red cherry , hints of red rose and cedar , slightly stony edge also, will need time to open up . On the palate this has quite a lot more acidity and gritty tannins, red cherry , raspberry , orange rind and a real freshness and elegance . Balanced alcohol and good cherry tinged length . Very balanced and elegant , also pretty young , needs a few more years to open . Probably better in a 5 years or so and will last well a further 5-10 . The most ethereal and poised of the Brunellis in this tasting . — 3 months ago
Seven years after the vintage, this one shows no signs of slowing down. On the nose, green grass, tomato plant, papaya... On the palate, papaya again... Big mineral... Good acidity. Medium finish. Crisp, bright, and alive. Very enjoyable. — 3 years ago
