Doppio Passo Puglia Primitivo 2023

The Sun Inn. Lighter end of Promitivo but well balanced, good with red meat, and very drinkable. — 3 months ago

Doppio Passo

Puglia Primitivo 2022

I really enjoyed this wine! Ruby in the glass. Plum and straw on the nose. Flavors of raspberry, plum and grass. — 8 months ago

Sasso di Sole

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2020

Delightful reasonably priced Brunello for the quality. Impressive nose on opening with non—aggressive raspberry strawberry cherry mild spice and mild undergrowth. The palate is fruit forward with the same fruit and spice profiles with soft tannins extending the finish for a while. Not sure it will cellar well but it’s at a peak now with little air needed. — a month ago

Poggio al Sole

Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2022

Very good Chianti wine 🍷 — 6 months ago

Monte Maletto

Carema Sole e Roccia Nebbiolo

This can easily go up in score, pretty young but did great over 5 days tapped twice with a coravjn and then cork pull the last day.

Outside of the OG Ferrando, and there is not much else bottled here outside of them and Produttori, outstanding first try of this one.

Rosso Passo Veneto IGT Sangiovese Blend

My mom really loved this wine, demanded I got it for her again. Fruity but not sweet, not super acidic either — 7 months ago

Passo Del Cardinale Primitivo Di Manduria 2018

It is a medium dark wine with a savory nose, showing violets, licorice, forest floor and a touch of cardamom. The palate is spicy, with black pepper and herbs joining the black berry profile. The tannins are quite firm and the acidity is fresh. It is a youthful wine which will pair nicely with a pork roast. — 4 years ago
