Poggio Della Torre

Torre d'Orti

Amarone Della Valpolicella Corvina Blend

Very nice black pepper at first nose. Cherries, blackberries and acidity in mouth. A little bit high alcohol. Amarone as it should be. Rounded, soft, flex but full bodied with very gentle tanins. Should be a little bit generous to get a higher rate. But overall a great wine. Just a great choice for amarone mood. Always have it in my wine rack. — 2 months ago

Vigliano (Paolo e Lorenzo Marchionni)

L'Erta Poggio Della Bruna Toscana Sangiovese 2019

Dark rubi robe, nose of dark fruit, top soil, spices and blackcurrant. Fine tanins and a long finish, very balanced, great great stuff. We loved it. — a year ago

Beldemonio Vermouth Rosso

One of the best “sweet” vermouths I’ve had but not even that sweet. Sangiovese based. Forgot to take photos but these guys are making some killer Sangiovese, with a much softer and fresher profile, in Romagna. — a year ago

Enrico Serafino

Poggio della Rupe Gavi Cortese 2020

I attended a Truffles dinner last night that featured a number of wines from Piedmont. This wine was described as being like Chablis. This started our evening off. Citrus plus minerality stood out. @55Seventy — 2 years ago
