2010. 9.0-9.1. Good for older Bordeaux fix, but lacks fruit to be great. Glycerin, minerals, some pencil lead come through at expense of muted blue and black fruits and moderate, integrated tannins. Gorgeous expression of SB, classic site expression with its vibrant array of ripe citrus fruits and densely packed mineral backbone. Just beautiful. Key lime, grapefruit, a slight tropical edge, lemon curd, crushed chalk, aloe, sweet herbs. Went way to quick need to track down another bottle! — 5 years ago

Do you know I keep trying it and I’m just not a fan of Gewurztraminer. There’s too much of a perfume flavor to it but it’s sort of reminds me of like chewing those fake fruit gummy‘s. This is delicious, it just sort of gets overwhelming after a while. — 4 years ago
