Least favorite of the total wine Portugal tries. Too much leather and Tobacco Matt liked. Got better as it opened. — 7 months ago
Enjoyed this Kurt wine from Portugal. Would get again. — a year ago
Intense, deep, powerful but incredibly approachable red blend from the Douro River, a red blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. This combination will please all styles of wine drinkers. The flavors of red compote and a hint of baked red cherry pie and a@touch of toast and vainilla provides a wonderful mouthfeel. It is progressive and has silky tannins, smooth texture and long finish. — 2 months ago
Deep ruby in color; plums, cassis, and graphite on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like blackberries, black cherries, and wet gravel with a long finish. I really like this wine. — 8 months ago
Inky big time black & blue fruit but only after several hours in decanter. This has some stuffing, great extract and tons of secondary notes like tobacco leaf, mushroom & freshly turned earth, dried herbs, etc. graceful on palate, needed some acidity / pliable tannins, smells big, tastes med (-) but delicious regardless. — 2 years ago
Quality dry sparkler at a great price. — 5 months ago
Semi-sweet on the front end, smoky finish, making the barreling and age a defining characteristic. Brown-red color and nutty, caramel notes. Exceptional tawny port (as it should be) — 10 months ago

You know where this wine kicks ass? In Kauai. So tropical, well balanced, good fruit, but awesome acidity with lemons, some pineapple, maybe stone fruit, so freaking delicious and perfect with seafood. — 2 months ago
