A crisp, light wine that reveals white peaches, grilled apricots, and fresh lime with sea salt and a nice long finish. Ideal picnic wine. — 5 years ago
Moores. 2011. $35. Outstanding, age worthy riesling. — 6 years ago
Incredibly easy to drink. Bit of sweetness with good acidity and minerality. For me, main aroma was of wet rock / limestone with a hint of pineapple at the back. Best reisling I’ve had and I want another bottle. Worth every penny — 8 years ago
Great example of a just entering maturity tasty Riesling just simply yum as per Moore B. — 19 days ago
Delicious. Lovely fruit. Perfect time to drink an 09. — 3 years ago
Nice high quality well aged Riesling. Probably better a couple years ago, but still nice. Lustrous on the palate with a touch of amber honey and good acid with a balanced and persistent finish. — 6 years ago
Lovely nose. Moore B tasting with winemaker last hour with more limited selection. Indeed there’s something special with the Ratzenburger wines, especially the ones with age in the winery cellar. Impressive sparkling to mature Spatlese, all wonderful. — 19 days ago
This is the 04 Bacharacher Wolfshohle Reisling Spatlese. Still wonderful 15 years later. — 5 years ago
Typical Ratzenberger brilliance. Macadamia, cocoa butter, Queen Anne cherries. Just the slightest hint of slate, flint and sweetness. Mouthcoating, impossibly long, already becoming a haunting sort of thing. Who else can take a hot year and a GG vineyard and make an exceptional feinherb of it? #ratzenberger #mittelrhein #riesling — 6 years ago
