Les Charmes Santenay Pinot Noir

Much black compared with Bourgogne and juicy. Earthy herby spicy aroma. Deep strawberry. Tannic due to young. Over time, much smooth after one hour. 9.0 after a few years. Last minutes today, 3 hours, a bit dry. Rene Lequin-Colin Les Charmes Santenay Pinot Noir 2018 @1080, Kping -, 210520-210526 — 5 years ago

Les Noizons Pommard Pinot Noir 2005

The village of Pommard is beautiful, but I’ve struggled with the wines. Any harsh edge has finally lifted and there’s terroir here, but you have to reach for it. — 3 years ago

Same for me with Pommard. I’ve drink many that are not that friendly but seem to suggest that they’ll reach a point where the shell breaks and you get to taste what’s underneath the shell. Some day I’ll have one that is in the “post-shell” stage.

Bourgogne Chardonnay 2015

Melon, apple, stone, on the nose / creamy, plush, giving palate / mineraled finish that leans crisp / presence of oak and slight new oak is apparent on this completely solid, totally pleasurable entry-level bottle 👌 — 8 years ago
