Wow. A stunner.
Nose is fresh peach skin and apricot
Palate is light peach. Balanced but not overtly acidic. Not heavy. Delicious. There is something very elegant about this. A rare tropical wine that is clean but not blowsy or syrupy or unctuous or too much. Almost this sweet beauty on the finish.
As this opens the nose is a unique thing of beauty. Not peach. But peach flowers. A thing of beauty. Nose filling but so elegant. The barest hint of clove maybe gives some complexity. Some minerality comes out on the palate. Maybe some lemon zest. Great elegant texture. A mere kiss of a coating on the palate. Lingering spice.

If you are not drinking this producer at these prices you are nuts. Absolutely nuts. Top of the chain quality. Cheap compared to other elite white wines.
Nose is tropical flowers. So elegant. Wafting.
Palate is mountain stream infused with tropical fruit. Mineral. Balanced. Joyously elegant.

What a great surprise it was to finally meet @Shay A and his family in-person, and at Classic no less! Both he and my wife coordinated a surprise tasting to help ring in my 30th birthday and it was on-point 👌🏻 15 wines, all Alexander Vineyards’ private labels or selections from other producers in their portfolio. All really fun to taste and talk about.
As for this champagne, arguably my WOTN 🥂 — 5 years ago
Stunning at this stage. Honeyed, a bit of reduction, dense palate & fabulous texture. Honeydew melon, minerals, just so easy to love. No flab. These n rhone whites can be so over-egged; Stephane’s wines are clean, enticing, and evocative. Lovely work @Lyle Fass Fass Selections Rhone portfolio. — 2 years ago
pale ruby with tawny rim; raspberry, mineral, faint floral notes; soft, feminine, 13% ABV; nice village level red Burgundy, a Robert Kacher selection — 5 years ago

Nose: gorgeous white and yellow flowers. Intoxicating as it opens. Intense florality.
Palate : elegant honey. Silky. So delicious. Nectar. Nectarine like. Not huge acidity.
This wine takes me to a happy place. Not elite complexity. But elite deliciousness. And not chardonnay or Riesling.
