My buddy, Ash, gave me this many yes ago & suggested i hold it til 2008. I never listened to him (except he did turn me on to Zichichi wines...). Can kind of see the amount of sediment this had - like a pound of soil in the bottle! Still had great, chocolate, anise, black cherry tones & great lasting finish. If you have one of these - keep it for a few more yes! So far beyond my expectations! — 4 years ago
Elegant but fruit is still present. Glad I sat on this bottle for years. Not disappointed. — a month ago

A rich but now well balanced Zin in that ripe style that I’d likely not have been too fond of when it was younger. Bottle coated with sediment and oak is prominent in how it’s resolved with plummy berry vanilla notes. Back label says a field blend of Zin Carignane and Petit Sirah, Alexander Valley vineyard, vines cultivated on St. George rootstock grafted onto a 75 year old clone of Zin. — 4 years ago
Fruity. I could drink a lot of this way too easily. — 6 years ago
Got the plow of classic Rosenblum. Color is prefect. Rosy red. Aroma is strange. Maybe mole. Or mole and plum sauce. Flavors are chewy, dense and jammy. Classic Zin. This aged quite well. Balance is fantastic. A winner of a Sonoma county Zin. Great, great deal at Gross Outlet. — 2 years ago
Prob didn’t need to have this btl at the end of the night, but it had a great, sweet richness. Lots of vanilla bean, soft chocolate finesse. What a treat - especially after having a 2017 Imposter early in the nite! Thx Jeff Cohn. — 4 years ago
Huge fruit still! Really surprising how well the Rosenblum wines are holding up 15+yrs out. This had a great, rich finish. — 6 years ago
This pretty much doesn’t exist anymore. I have two more left and then gone forever. My palate is happy. Plum and cherry. Super heavy and strong. Getting older didn’t hurt this one as it was stored well and decanted for a few hours. — 6 years ago

Perfect cork.
Fantastic ripe plum notes to the nose and palate. I don't know the exact blending percentages of the grapes, but assume CS is dominant since it's listed first on the back label. But, the Merlot is most prominent at this age and it's singing a beautiful song tonight after 3H in the decanter. Last bottle from release purchase in April 2006, winery direct. — 2 months ago
