Sharing this beautiful wine with the wife at Ellerbes. Wonderful stone fruits, and minerality. Is being decanted but doesn't need it — 7 years ago
Exuberant nose of peer and quince, well integrated oak, fat, yet fresh, complex, lingering finish. A structured, corpulent and elegant wine. — 7 months ago
First signs of getting ready to blow everyone away. Structured, shows potential to become rich once its acidic Pinot noir backbone fades. At this point it nears perfection for me. Showing signs of age but still with the structure, fruitiness and acidity that makes you want to drink this all year long. Vastly underrated at this point on delectacble. Everything by these guys I was given the chance to drink was fantastic Rhône to Burgundy. “Negociants” Rotem & Mounir ... given the price it’s a good thing you can enjoy this by using just your nose. — 6 years ago

Couldn’t quite feel the love with this wine. Came with quite a bit of fanfare and expectation but remained unbalanced with a sharp green note I don’t care for but my wife loves. All in the eye of the beholder I guess. Tasted young, fresh, minerally and spicy. Not like a GSM I would have expected from Southern Rhone. No earthy undernotes. But, hey, I might be all wrong about this because I have never been there. Maybe that is not a distinct character of the wines from there. — 8 days ago
