Amayna (Viña Garces Silva)

Syrah 2017

Medium dark rubi robe, nose pf asian spices, blackcurrant and black fruits. Very fresh and medium bodied, no wood tannins, well done and very seriously drinkable. Good stuff and surprised on the upside. — 6 days ago

Reserva Especial Valley Collection Valle de San Antonio Pinot Noir 2020

Gran Reserva Valle De Leyda Pinot Noir 2017

Pretty good pinot noir. Bit on the tangy side. Drunk this one before, liked it less. Seem to age well. — 5 years ago

Coastal Vineyards - Garuma Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Acid! Super zippy, great long finish, combined with vegetable nuances, lemon, and ripe grapefruit. Also, picking up tropics.. guava,.. jalapeños and tarragon. Love the complexity! Costco under $20. Sometimes, these SB go down like soda! Quaffable! — 2 years ago

San Antonio Valley Syrah

Nice to have this wine again after 11 years. Visited the vineyard in Chile in 2011. A bit too international in profile; I prefer their regular Syrah. A little watery at the start, but then gets more intense and flavorful in the mid-range and after taste. Enjoyed with a burger at Wollensky’s Grill. — 3 years ago
