Bought to make Negronis, and great on its own. Lots of acidity, paired well with two white pizzas — 5 years ago
Smooth, very light wine. Thin in the mouth but full of flavour. The right sweetness to enjoy alone or with a light meal. — 6 years ago
Once again, SC describes this nicely, so I'll leave his notes here:
One of those special and unique Burgundy. Extremely elegant, velvety, with that unique typical "Griotte" expression. Very precise. Unlike othee Grand Cru's from Dugat, the oak here is more than intergrated behind a gorgeous violet bouquet.
I thought this was wonderful. Blue fruited and very floral nose, with a touch of oak. Palate brings about some delicious spice, bright cherries and plums, and clear precision with the acidity and finish. There's a real rustic touch with the tannins, although very fine. Begs for even more age in my opinion, but drinks phenomenally now! — 7 years ago
Very drinkable for the price. Slightly sweet with the flavor of strawberries an flowers. — 7 years ago
Love this! Great fizz, really sweet - huge hit when entertaining. — 8 years ago
Light and citrusy, with a banana aroma and taste. — 3 months ago
As noted previously, we have found that KBs under Michael have aged well; this SC continues this pattern; initial pour oak dominated the aromatics which resolved to a dark fruit profile after sitting for 15 minutes; palate continued dark purple to fruit profile with a long finish…no noticeable aging in color though palate is less fruit forward than a few years ago — 4 years ago

This is amazing. A haunting noise of intoxicating red fruit. Beautifully mature and delicate yet super pure. Translucent. Light but powerful with a little tang of acidity. Really special. — a month ago
