Nora had this Wine in Sept 24 2021 — 3 years ago
Sept. 2022. At 13 years, still drinking well, actually better than ever. Velvety tannins, firm lively and smooth palate. Medium to full bodied. — 2 years ago
Mørke, modne - men ikke overmodne - saftige bær møder mynte, lakrids-noter og hvid peber. Blød garvesyre, lang finish og en smag, der er både lang og bred. — 3 years ago
Sept 2020 $? (~15-20?) at Norman’s. Color: garnet with corona of raisiny brown. Open about 30 min and... fine. Not sweet, good tannins in mouth, no linger. Unremarkable and goes down easily. After bottle open about 90 min, more spice and edge, classic yet not complex (at all) Pinot flavor. Alc %14.5 but does not land as a “strong” wine. No actual negatives but would only buy ‘16 again for $8 or less. High rating b/c so very easy to drink. — 4 years ago

Merweh, Jardin secret, 900m. Sémillion essentially and this is oxidative made. The nose is bonkers, intense Brazil nuts, smoke, and a distant memory of pineapple and canned apricot. Even more fun in your mouth. Fruit intensity returns, more herbal involvement (esp thyme) and there's a really pleasing structure and long finish. Pretty strong case for this being an entirely different beast to aussie and French sem. — 2 years ago
2015 vintage, opened on 6th Sept 2020. Leathery with black plum nose. Metallic and mineral palate. Moderate acidity. Long finishing. — 4 years ago

Starts quite earthy, brambly, almost mushroomy, and dark stewed fruit. Opens really nicely after an hour to crunchy stemmy blackberry and cherry. — 7 months ago
