I find this one kind of hard to describe. It was very deep and very concentrated with flavors that just sort of stewed together. It was almost like this wine was lacking oxygen at some point in its life and it just tasted still. More of that catnip. A nuanced and developed version of Gamay that just dances on the palate. Fruit doing a tango with tannin, which showed up a bit late to the party because it was doing a foxtrot with the acidity in the hallway. Brilliant juice. — 4 years ago
