Minerally, citrus, and a hint of salt. Very good for what it is, but personal preference leads me to reds. — 6 years ago
Bottled 1 month ago. A very attractive #chardonnay Great fruit and white flowers on the nose with med intensity. The palate was on the restrained side with less ripe apples and lemon. The structure was tight with med + acid and integrated alcohol. This was well balanced and had nice length. #trombettafamilywines #russianrivervalley #californiachardonnay #ctbucklinwine — 9 years ago
Very good! Not as great as their Pinot but still solid. — 7 months ago
2014. A thoughtful gift from a generous and wine savvy friend. Elegant, might even say luxurious, and definitely built for the long-haul. Red and black cherry, red raspberry, hint of birch beer and spice. An almost smoky minerality wafts here and there. Subtle, refreshing acid and a light and lingering finish. 14.2% abv is still integrating but is certainly not hot or clumsy. Would love to see it in four or five years. — 8 years ago
Good but not great. Not sure I’d get again. — 9 months ago
Indindoli not as great as gap crown with more age on it but still good. Likely needs more time — a year ago
