Did a bit of research on this wine since I was bringing it to an Apulia themed dinner at Anthony’s in HH. This grape was once nearly extinct and happily its back. There was a lot of black and red berries and some licorice. Nice finish and a structured wine. — 14 days ago

There’s Primitivo in this one. Salmon pink, excellent clarity. Dried apricot in the mouth with skin astringency in the initial pour, followed later by cherry flavor with an herbal, red pepper and mineral finish. Decent acidity, should hold up well to food. — a year ago
