Great value! Dry Riesling with minerality on the nose and fruit on the palate. Delicious! — 6 years ago
This is your #riesling if you’re not a fan of the petrol / diesel notes, once this has had a chance to breathe a bit. While I don’t mind those, this is a nice alternative terroir expression - subtle floral and peach notes on nose. @Kurt Schuster is spot on with the crystalline descriptor. The palate is more about the luscious fruit texture backed by sturdy acidity and a touch of RS rather than a lot of complexity. Where else can you get #grandcru #alsaceriesling other than #costco for ~$18? — a year ago
Fruity and sweet without being too sweet. had at terrior. Delicious — 5 years ago
Blend of mostly Sylvaner and some Gewürztraminer and Muscat from old vines in Mittelbergheim. Notes of white peach and floral notes. Citrus and apple on the palate. Medium-bodied, quite round, mineral, great texture — a year ago
Rieffel’s entry-level red, 100% Pinot Noir from vineyards in the village of Mittelbergheim, about 25km southwest of Strasbourg, in the Bas Rhin. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and whole clusters, and aged in oak for 6 months. Lively nose. Bright red fruit. Light bodied, fresh, easy to drink — 2 years ago
Superb Riesling from the Zotzenberg grand cru in Mittelbergheim (Bas Rhin/Lower Rhine), about 25 km south of Strasbourg. Clean, precise nose with notes of rubber and floral hints. Light, fresh, zesty acidity. Citrus (lemon) flavors. Good length — 3 years ago
