Our 4th Duckhorn wine of the evening and one of their best. From the Anderson Valley this wine has what I consider a lot of heart and soul. It’s light and lively yet complex and very interesting on the palate. Produced from grapes of three separate vineyards with balanced fruit and acid, then barreled in 60% new French oak. This one will be a frequent occupant in our cellar. Cheers 🍷 — 6 years ago
A stand out old-world style from OR. Develops nicely over a 30 minute decant. Bright fruit in the nose with some herbs. Medium body. Velvety with a dry finish.
@GaryWEdwards this could be worthy of a small spot in the cellar — 5 years ago
This was surprisingly subtle and complex. Although not a peaty, smoky style, I really liked this whisky. We tasted this at the November Old Line Scotch Club meeting. #aberlour #12year #whisky #oldlinescotchclub — 8 years ago

Lovely Pinot Meunier Champagne. A little young still, and will likely be better after several years of aging. Nice aroma and fruit flavor. — 5 years ago
