So...I had a birthday a couple weeks back and due to scheduling, my regular bottle finishing team wasn't available until now, so we're finally doing it up in my grand, unique style.
Notes possibly tomorrow, scores honestly tonight.
Decanted 6H; 2014-2019 vertical.
24-Hour Update:
Nose has muddy strawberries, damp vines, fading roses and garden soil.
Palate has tart cherry, lime zest, fresh cranberry with faint earthy notes.
The darkest red color of any E&M rosé I have ever seen. — 3 years ago
Consistently delivers (although price continues to inch up) and classically styled. For me, this rosé always has a great texture…never too flabby nor sharp in acidity, perfect marriage. Cool peach, nectarine and honeysuckle aromatics, and more of the same on the palate with added blood orange, yet the finish turns more herbal/mineral driven. I followed this over two days and it was a delight each time. I know they can age, but definitely easy ones to drink early on. — 3 years ago

A friend who introduced me to couple of great boutique Paso wineries brought this GSM from his new discovery.
Signature Paso ripe lightly candied fruits leaning on the darker and more savory side. Dark chocolate, peppery spices, and game too. Full body. Dense and beautifully textured. Ripe soft tannins.
