I feel like most of the tasting notes and scores for this wine are slightly unfair or unjust. People drinking a youthful #Beaujolais 3/4 years after vintage? That’s not a great idea, if it’s any good 4 years later, then that’s an amazing testament to its quality. This is Uber intense in the nose, but honest, rich and candy like red fruits. I think this would go bonkers with turkey cranberries and stuffing. — 3 years ago

Lovely, lovely #brouilly Cru #beaujolais - Definitely needs a quarter to half-hour to open up. Decidedly savory nose backed by red/black fruit - almost a touch Syrah-eqsue with charcuterie flavors. More fruity on the palate, good structure and velvet-soft finish. Incredible wine for a charcuterie board pairing. — 2 years ago

Lovely #Gamay. This #beaujolais had powerful graphite and violets and roses. Very clean palate and harmonious tannin/acid. With time the minerality and fruit became extremely elegant but lasting. #wine — 4 years ago
