Peche de vigne, white peach, big time.
Intensity but big minerality and salinity too which makes it last and stand.
A super classic and quite bold chassagne-montrachet, very pleasant may be lacking a bit of sharpness.

Much more expressive than 1 year ago. Nose was powerful and ripe with nice complexity. Palate was full with a nice backbone of acid. This is in great shape right now! #benjaminleroux #chassagnemontrachet #premieurcru #chardonay #burgundy #ctbucklinwine — 9 years ago
A little disappointing. High alcohol and a little flabby with a touch of premox. I can't tell whether this an ugly phase, a poor bottle, or a whoops. Almost like new world chard. #josephdrouhin #chassagnemontrachet — 10 years ago
Cherry blossom, lemon zest, whiff of powder, lime pith candied grapefruit nose. Lemon tart, lemon verbena and lemongrass emerge from warm lemon depths. Chalky and precise, this producer delivers a very pointed and yet complex offering evoking salivation and reverberating with cool herbaceous undertones.

Fifth day open: roasted plums, cherries, jasmine, black tea, saddle leather. Nebbiolo-like and balsamic, yet it's immediately recognizable as Pinot. Another example of how '15 offers Cote-de-Beaune reds that are as good as they can possibly be. #chassagnemontrachet #pinotnoir — 8 years ago
This is an extremely well done #chassagnemontrachet It has fantastic balance, weight, and structure. The texture of butter and med + complexity. The oak is there but in a sexy way. #josephdrouhin #cotedebeaune #chardonnay #burgundy #negociant #ctbucklinwine — 10 years ago
#chassagnemontrachet #premieurcru eagerly waited a couple of years to open this. First day, drank it too cold and paired it with gulf coast Grouper meunière-style which would have went better with a steely crisp Chablis. 2 days later from wine fridge, serving in a Pinot Noir bowl wine glass my experience was transformed as the wine warmed up gently on a cool sunny day. Lemon curd, ghee, almond paste, faint floral honey tones on the nose. Rich, almost oily mouthfeel, tension and mineral notes in the backseat with ascendant lemon curd, creamy meringue and ripe pear. Delicious layers of flavor from the last glass in the bottle. — 5 years ago
slate, great acidity, subtle honey notes, caramelized orange peel #chassagnemontrachet #winetasting — 9 years ago
Great wine but you can taste the negociant fruit in the lack of depth. Still beautiful though. #olivierleflaive #chassagnemontrachet #premiercru — 10 years ago
