Vintage 2014 - Boy, I slept well after drinking two glasses Pilgrim, garnacha from Gredos, west of Madrid. It’s 16% alcohol, but not disturbing. The wine has a lovely smell with vague impression of raspberries and a smooth spicy taste. We shall see whether the pale #garnacha from #cebreros and #gredos shall continue in popularity? It’s nice and I would suggest drinking it slightly chilled, but I feel like these wines are muted and will not evolve well for bottle aging due to lack of tannins and anthocyanins and 15% alcohol.
