Even better than the last vintage. Really does remind me of Etna whites.

From Kevin Harvey’s experiment with growing Italian, mostly Sicilian, grapes in California. I’ve had this a few times and it seems to improve with age. While it resembles the Sicilian version they make, this is distinct. Very enjoyable with pizza on a hot august day.

Notes of cream brûlée, creamcicle, citrus flower and a slight hint of orange explode from the glass in contrast to the pale straw coloring of the wine itself. Medium bodied, with good acidity that’s just starting to soften, with notes of fresh honeydew, cantaloupe, and strong florals, then contributes to open as the flavor evolves. As It progresses it becomes progressively more oxidized, until it culminates in a hint of diesel fuel on the finish. This is an incredibly surprising and complex wine that kind of blows my mind.

Insanely good. Agree with sf chronicle. Best white wine I never heard of. Nose and palate are an explosion of honeysuckle, jasmine, earl grey, peaches, touch of citrus, but wow is this floral. It’s like drinking perfume in the best way. Go to website and order, I’m fascinated to hear what others think.
