Quite light and translucent. Sweet Asian spice and sweet potatoes. Smoke and tart cherries. Juicy acids.

Nose is spicy and complex. Palette is taught and vibrant. A beautiful wine but I expected a rounder showing.

Dec 6th, 2019Anthill has become a cult Pinot Noir in the US for a reason, and this wine demonstrates why. Complex, but not overpowering, the Tina Marie delivers a subtle experience with cherry blossom, plum, and earth. The mouthfeel is sensational, teasing the palate with concentrated flavors and well developed tannins that make you beg for more. The wine will improve with age - I drank a bottle a year ago and found it harsh and austere. A year later, this has become a beautiful Pinot. 2015 vintage on May 14, 2019

May 29th, 2019Good but not great. Just had some other Pinot noirs from burgundy (duh) and frankly enjoyed them more. Wine is personal but in terms of California Pinots, it’s fine. I’m just not wowed. That said, a safe bet, highly drinkable and should be a crowd pleaser
