Gorgeous amber with orange evokes fine scotch. Tortoise shell lacing materializes. Orange bread and toasted sesame, Marcona almond, plantain and butternut squash pencil in the autumnal details. Poppyseed, toasty malt, allspice, acorn squash bread and a touch of ginger spice. Forgot what a seasonal treat this is!

Tis’ the season

This is really a monster of a Marzen: thick viscous sweet toasty roasty caramel beast - all their beers are like this - if this was wine it would be a marginally over extracted Barossa Shiraz! If you don’t drink this too cold and let it open up in a nice glass it will win you over

Apparently I’m on the wrong side of history on this one. I can not stand it. Too much honey, too sweet. I even ate a bratwurst taller with this lager

This is what I've been looking for. A real german tasting beer.
