Good but not as good as other bottles of this I've had. Seemed a bit heat affected. Still acidic but alcohol is masking the delicacy I'd expect to find.

Gattinara. A very elegant and finesse driven expression of nebbiolo. Freshness, wild roses, red currant, mild black pepper, fine herbs and a very complex structure. This has am excellent potential to age.

2006 vintage. Dinner at Stella Alpina. Well structured Nebbiolo with light cherry and deep raspberry flavor. Intensely aromatic. I had another 10 years of life in it.

Drinking really well now. Let it decant for an hour, opened up beautifully. Also with Gabby.
