Reasonable entry level Barolo. Dark garnet color. Aromas and flavors of violets, red berries, red cherry, baking spices, tar, earth and toasted hazelnuts. There is a definite presence of a “green quality.” Medium-plus and juicy finish. The tannins are in check. Touch of heat but reasonably well balanced.

Feb 8th, 2023Strong floral notes that filled room on opening. Surprisingly open without need for air. Bright strawberry/raspberry leather and tobacco on the palate. Nice balance of acidity and lingering tannins. Very strong for a more entry-level Barolo.
