The nose will hit any Merlot lover right in the heart. There's aromas of cinnamon, big juicy and ripe blueberry and blackberry, a hint of mint (hehe, that rhymes) and there's a fiery spiciness following it all up. On the palate it echoes those descriptors, it's medium to full bodied, has low acidity, medium and balanced tannin, and a mouthfeel as smooth as Luthor Vandross. It finishes with blackberries, an uprise in tartness, and oak. Outfreakingstanding. My #1 suggestion in affordable Merlot.

Deep dark red with aromas of dark fruit with cedar spice. On the palate ripe berry flavors with notes of herb and savory spice. This full-body wine had soft tannins finishing about medium in length with woody tones. Tasting Sample.

Excellent Merlot from Sonoma at a great price. Nice ruby color and fruit forward. Well structured and layered. Blueberries prominent. Nice with steak frite at Huisache Grill in New Braunfels.

Purchased this for the 2016 holidays with family. Extremely smooth finish. Full bodied, but not over powering.
