Perfect in every way. Light bright and pretty. Zin, you say? Low alcohol - 13.5%. Fresh mt Rainer cherry, plum, spice- cleansing acidity- lingering, sultry finish.
Rocks.

Favorite wine on our Sept 2015 CA trip. Smooth and light but tons of flavor. Fruity but not overly sweet or sticky.

Shouldn't a zin with 13% have more acidity??

Lots of acid, lush mouth feel yet still a bit on the lighter side.

Seems caught between two styles and comes off a bit disjointed. This wants to be a leaner representation of Cali old vine zin, which I was stoked to try, but there was a weird confected note on the mid palate which threw the whole balance off. It would have been better off if it had leaned a little more in either direction. Either more medium bodied, slightly less confected and higher acid or a little higher octane. Simple red fruit, medium acid. Nothing herbaceous or savory. Short finish. Their Besson Grenache is superior in every way in this vintage.

Wow this was tasty. Spicy, slightly stewed/dried fruit but much lighter and more finessed than your typical Zin

This is pleasant, with cherry-berry fruit and soft acidity, not a lot of tannin.

Light and bright, in all the good ways. Funky on the nose when we first opened it. But day two it settled down and showed cranberries and dark earth. Great old world style from old vines in a coolish climate. Well done.

Big and fruity, but less exciting than cab. Good alternative.

Juicy red fruit and earthy spice. Zin treated like Pinot. Concentration without over-extraction. Refreshing, both literally and philosophically
