Fracture Paso Robles Syrah

Disappointing and expensive Syrah. Some richness but too many odd and off fruit flavors.

Started with some mineral on first blush. Gun powder hints. Fruit hints. First reaction was wow. Smooth acid. Worth the $100.

2017 Vintage. 15% Alcohol. Nose of Rosemary that would not dissipate. Need to cellar for 5-10 years before trying another.

The fracture was good! I thought it was light to taste. I loved the fruity notes. We enjoyed this with Colin and Perrin on their roof top during a virtual wine tasting
