Roero Arneis
Very fresh and lively from the jump with this one. So much citrus on the nose with pineapple, lemon tart, and peach. Flint, sea spray, and wet stones. There’s some apple and the faintest hint of cinnamon just for good measure.
You take a legendary producer and add in a fun grape, this should be good despite being an entry level bottle, right? Right. This is a yummy, fun bottle that makes you regret not opening two. High acidity and very clean. Rich and medium bodied. Herbs and a little spice on the tongue to go with all that citrus. You want it to be a little longer but this is quite tasty.

Strong apple and acid on the front of the pallet, performed better once warmed up from pouring temp

Oct 1st, 2021Outstanding summer Italian white in a great summer of Italian whites. Strong on the minerals to start and then when the wine warms up the pear, apple all come forward. Close to a value buy and easily worth it.

Fresh yet quite serious with structure before fruit. Nice breadth on the palate with spicy acidity, shy apricot and an slightly bitter almond finish. A nice serious effort, that showcases Piemonte is not the white wine country.
