Jul 14th, 2019Medium+ garnet, with a tinge of orange-brown color around the rim. Raspberry and cherry nose, along with that pencil shavings smell. Second hour of air, secondary scents unfolded with some mint, spices and lightly roasted coffee beans. Feels quite Burgundian. Silky tannins. Not much gripping. Mid weight on the palate. Nice acidity; not overly tart. Surprisingly long. The taste lingered for quite a while. 91-92.
