What a gorgeous multilayered bouquet. The '71 seems to be more open with each tilt of the glass. On the palate, it lacks some follow-through, but you can love this wine on its nose alone.

Pale color, orange-red. Completely mature, fully resolved tannins, but yet with a pretty life. Dried fruits, orange zest, BBQ/bacon & smoke. Very good with the cheese in the end.
