Underestimated the wine initially. A wine that rewards patience. Complex nose. Bright acidity cut through the lamb chop fat with ease. Long finish with gripping tannins. Bought at under $30. What a value!

What a beautiful little wine. Showing a nose of rose petals and black cherries. You'll find those classic Barolo notes of dried plums, cinnamon, and even more flowers. And that leather! It can be difficult telling people you love leather on the palate but it's one of my favorites. Those silky smooth tannins really take this baby home. Still just a baby that could use some time to mature, I'm an impatient guy and had to drink now.

Sweet, almost jellied red fruit, baking spices, vanilla bean, cherries, just a hint rustic. Approachable with a decant, certainly will age and develop in the bottle. Finishes dry and lasts with great length.
