Another solid vintage of this Portuguese value red. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo and Touriga National. Aromas and flavors of ripe black plums, black cherries, roasted herbs, black olives, dark chocolate and black licorice. Distinct spice and black pepper notes on the medium-plus finish. Excellent complexity, bone dry and abundant tannins. Excellent value.

Had the 2020 in March of 2024 with charcuterie and caprese. Not a bad little wine. Medium bodied with some berry and currant. Definitely some oak but had a very short finish. Not bad for a lower price point wine.
