Cavallotto
Bricco Boschis Barolo Nebbiolo
Intense and fine grained. Dark fruit with inky intensity. Very pretty high tones but still quite unresolved. Good future ahead

Jan 31st, 2015Everything I love about barolo! The 2004 Cavallotto Bricco Boschis is simply fantastic. Baking spice, dried cherry, cedar and a little dried flower. This is refined, elegant and drinking wonderfully.

Oct 1st, 2017Tasted the same night as the '01 Riserva. More purple hue and more black fruit profile on nose and palate. Tannins seemed a little less intense. Probably a product of the vintage.

Mar 10th, 2017One of my favorite producers. Always good. Can go another 10 years. Dark red with an orange tinge. Blackberry nose. Then tea leaves leather on the palate. Dark cherries. 2004 was a top vintage and it shows a great wine
