2014 vintage - good time to drink up pencil lead , herbal, raspberry fruit

Awesome cab franc. Pencil shavings, earth, wild berry, clean/weighty palate and great acid. Loved it.

Primary with a combination of brightness and dark fruit. A touch too phenolic on the finish at this time.

Really enjoying this authentic savory red, featuring a leafy loamy character, vibrant red berry and white pepper. Paired with Dijon balsamic p. Tenderloin with herbs de Provence and Parmesan risotto

Good tannins/dry, medium high acidity. Flavors of cherry, cranberry, light herb(?), currants. Cherry throughout. Finish drops off in intensity, but lingers for a little while. Worth buying more especially with food. Cherry becomes stronger over time; would be better if cherry mellowed. Drank with oregano chicken and mashed potatoes from Lambruscos.

Great chinon from Loire. Can it taste more "cold climate". Clean, good acidity with taste of pencil, blackberry and earth.

En ganska lätt och bra balanserad Chinon för 150 jämna. Dricker gärna den igen men saknar möjligen lite av den där gräs och kalkigheten som Cab Franc kan bjuda på. 👏🏼👏🏼
