The second wine we had is this Bordeaux from St. Estephe. The nose is pretty prominent in dark fruit, heavy licorice, wet leaves and alcohol that blew off after being out of bottle for a few minutes. On the palate I get black cherries, licorice, black plum and a floral note I can't put my finger on. The tannins are smooth with a nice dryness but not big or over powering. A nice bottle but not as good as the first.

Jul 28th, 2013Very enjoyable and flavorful Bordeaux blend on the low end of the price spectrum that delivers the goods without as much complexity and explosiveness. Very good for the price
