Awfully tasty. Dark garnet, lots of minerality comes through.

From Bordeaux. Cassis. Earthy nose but not flavor.

Dark ruby in color with a dark red rim.

Nice fresh nose of wild flowers blackberries, cranberries, strawberries, cherries, candies, earth, light vanilla and white pepper.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, cherries, wood, earth, cloves and peppercorn.

Medium + in body with medium acidity.

Medium finish with round tannins and black pepper. (As it opens up, bigger tannings show up).

Great Bordeaux blend with 55% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc.
Balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.

Paired with grilled trout. All that lemon I sprinkled on it, brought out the fruits in the wine (unconventional pairing? but I liked it.)

14% alcohol by volume.

Crushed blackberry and blueberry, elderflower with a strong mocha background. Medium-bodied with soft tannins, warm and alcoholic. A little remaining acidity bringing freshness. Charming.

I'm not entirely sure why others haven't rated this wine quite as highly as I have here--a blend of merlot, cab sauv, and cab franc--notes of the clay-limestone terroir are apparent in this wine, along with strong fruit and acidity followed by supple tannins. While this one doesn't meet the 2009 Bordeauxs, it really doesn't fall that short. At $16-17 a bottle, a real #qprsuperstar and one I'll definitely go buy up. It'll only get better over the next 2 years.

Light bouquet of cherries and a hint of pepper. Round, full mouth feel with a nice, satisfying finish. A very good value and something you could drink on a regular basis.

What I would expect from a Boudreaux blend, not much fruit on the nose, decent minerality, little barnyard on the nose as well and that lovely French funk. Nothing special, but also wouldn't expect it for $13.

2011 Bordeaux from Chateau Paranchere was a perfect complement to our hearty yet light French meal on a blustery January day.

Love this wine. Rich earthy tones not heavy. Perfectly paired with a bone in rib-eye.
