Drunk from a magnum and therefore surprisingly approachable, nice nose full of black currents, earthiness, coffee, and oak, medium body, round tannins, good acidity, the mid body is missing a bit of depth and it is more on the medium side than the full body style. Yet pleasant and enjoyable. My score 88, drink to 2021

Here my findings: first 3 hours in the decanter parked, that he has to be necessary. Still young for a St. Estephe Cru Bourgeois Exeptionel 2009 Royal nose with aromas of Red spicy berries, sweet dark berries, Plum, vanilla, coffee, flowers and a hint of oak. Surprisingly accessible, yet still pretty in its tannins, but in a style I like. Will continue to evolve over the next ten years. Now 91 + DSP

Warming, tabac and dried fruit notes, lacking a little fruit for me. Label says keep for 12-18 years but wouldn't wait any longer, just on the edge in 2016
