2020 vintage. First vintage for the Perrodo family, who bought this estate from French Bank Crédit Agricole in late 2019. True to type elegant Margaux with the hallmark freshness of this great vintage. A solid effort, but definitely not in the same league as the excellent La Lagune 2020 tasted alongside. Terrific value though. An estate to watch. Abv. 14%.

Flavorful Margaux, still a little young, with prominent tannin, served with Hake Wellington at Chez Rosa restaurant in Kennebunkport, ME
