2016 vintage. A blend of 52% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. I wouldn't have guessed such a high Merlot percentage, as it has more of a Pauillac feel to it. Regardless, this is a great effort of Cru Classé quality. Abv. 13%

Very disappointing after seeing low to mid ninety’s ratings. The tight immature compounds didn’t allow the the wine to express. The reviewers call it soft elegance, I call it lack of depth, single note. After about 2 to 3 hours the wine just peters out. Definitely not worth $36. Tastes like one of these €12 euro Bordeaux you can get all over Europe. Sorry, a bit harsh I guess. Just can’t hide my disappointment. Maybe I am just become grumpy old guy now I am retired 🤣

Pop and pour. Lovely nose: dark cherry, charcoal, soft cedar, blackberry bramble. On the palate: lovely acidity, and density, charcoal, blackberry, blackberry bramble and soft tannin. Dark finish...lovely.

Bold and lush. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with touches of Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot. Intense aromas of violets as the wine opened. Blackberry and black/red currant fruit. Iron, charcoal and cedar are prolific. Black licorice on the long lasting finish. Expressive!

Notes of cherry and blueberry with vanilla. A bit of mineralogy. Quite nice and full body.

So not ready to drink right now. Needs a lot of air, and I mean hours. Bought 6 bottles so will let the others sit for a few years. Will adjust rating later.

Blackberry raspberry on nose and wet gravel. Medium+ acid, high tannin full bodied. Not a huge fan of the minerality
