Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Shows plenty after an hour decanted. Drinking nicely now and will last many more years to come.

Plummy & chocolatey plus undertones of redcurrant & red bell pepper. Plush, new french oak, significant pyrazine but less significant tannin. That puts me at #rightbank #bordeaux #saintemilion from a ripe vintage. And there she is, yum.

Vintage 2010 - old property that now is included in Quintus. Spicy still tannins chocolate and cherries, good balance

Beautiful right bank wine. 60% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc, 20% Cebernet Sauvignon. Honey and fig up front. Dusty earth and mushroom tones followed by forest floor, leather, tobacco, vanilla and baking spices galore. Loads of fruit, blackberry, cherry, sage notes with balanced acidity. Fantastic showing now. 14%
