A really nice Langhe that is plain delicious and quaffable but gives you enough to ponder and “taste” if you so desire, which makes you take another sip with another bite, then OMG the half bottle mark is in sight! Delightful! Purity, transparency and liveliness rule. What a value for about 20 and GL narrative. Hope more are stashed!

Dec 15th, 2021Wow, what a wine. PNP. The 2014 is delicious from the first sip. Unlike other langhe that is too fruity or tannic, this is such a charming wine with finess and transparency.

Sep 10th, 2016Definitely on the lighter, elegant side of Nebbiolo. Strawberry and flowers nose with focused cherry and graphite on the palate; edgy with fine-grained tannins.

Apr 27th, 2016Nice Burlotto. Smells of green peppers and a bit of cloves. Tastes of fruit jam, tannins are soft and velvety, and has a nice smoky and chalky quality. Surprised such a young wine needs so little time in the bottle and while it can last a few more years in the bottle, now is the right time to drink it. Not bad with a nice thick ragu.

Really liked this. More red fruits and sour cherries compared to the gattinara, clearly reflective of terroir. Delicate for a Langhe, probably because it's verduno!
