Classic no. 2 pencil lead nose. White pepper, purple flowers. Palate is tart, and pretty rustic. Fine grained tannins. Unfolds to a bouquet of lavender. Still needs time. Planning on holding another 2-3 years before opening another bottle.

Thought this would need some more time but actually pretty nice even now. Lots of green pepper and medium dark fruit wirh good herbal notes and a nice long measured finish.

I have loved the color of CF. Just so rich. This a has little barn going on. Opened it 2 days ago and just having my first glass now. Probably a little young but what the hey.
