Jan 8th, 2016On a wet stormy winter night in Northern Rhone, with a lamb and sausage cassoulet, I'm all in. But it being summer in Southern California...regardless of the dish...pass. (Oh, the wine? Dark brooding fruit that gives way to a near glossy yet appealing tannic finish.) Twenty-four hours later--brooding not so much and definitely more at peace with itself. Up that score: 8.8
