Giving Beaujolais a fair chance with a more informed pick and it's absolutely stellar. It's challenging my taste buds in ways I've not yet experienced, with rich and chewy tannins supported by some flowery backdrop. Getting lots of interesting fruity notes on the finish too, a bit of raspberry and salt.

Everything I like about Beaujolais. Juicy, fragrant, and satisfying. Great food wine and perfect Sunday night wine.
