I killed a baby...wine! I love this now, but I wish I kept it for 1-2 more years. I really enjoy the attention white Rhônes are getting this year. The '15 north and south are lovely. Some wax, white flowers, and minerals for the nose. Pluots, hibiscus, yellow fruit, and a fine chalkiness on the palate. Freshness and body carrying fine acidity leave me wanting more. I will get more of this!

@Antonio Galloni @Delectable Wine this wine is called

Saint Joseph "Sainte-Epine" Blanc Roussanne/Marsanne

Thanks.

Now this my note from Day 2. It got opened at the end of the night so I didn't get a good gauge on it and it was almost freezing cold. It's a bit shy on the nose with yellow fruits, tropical fries and huge minerals. Ample yet focused and precise. The wine is beautiful. Silky and long with the requisite fat of the North but also terrific balancing acidity. It is super balanced and fresh. At once shows terrific opulence but finishes with nice cleansing acids that fan out the unique minerality. Long and structured. Very deep wine. Has 10-15 years ahead of it. It's delicious but I think it needs 3-5 years. I love it now but it will slay in 3-5 years.

Man oh man. This is fantastic. Slightly less than average rich northern Rhône white. Which is good. It’s under control. Awesome awesome awesome concentration. Crazy depth. Mineral. Lemon rind. Hint of spice. Palate coating like an a bomb. Finish is sick. Just sick. Man I love this. Should be bonkers ina couple of years. If you want it now a decant would be optimal. Bought from Fass Selections.

Ok this is getting better and better. If you have this only drink it when you can focus. Do not share with non wine people. It’s insane. Just a great wine. Too bad I won’t live to see another Rhône vintage of the century.
