Roots of Leflaive family go back to 1717 when Claude Leflaive took up residence in Puligny-Montrachet. Straw yellow color with rich stone fruits, floral and biscuit notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and ripe pear with citrus, biscuit notes and gentle spice, great mouthfeel. Long finish ending with fruit, vanilla and a mineral tang. Nice!

Delish white burg. A lower-end bottle for this producer (not low end, however) that sings. Beautiful floral overtones, white peach and a touch of custard on the nose.. palate is fresh and vibrant, beautiful texture and a touch of minerality. Really nice for fans of St. Aubin and Mearsault that want to try something fun.
