Sep 21st, 2015Extremely delicious. Focus, weight, texture, racy and nervy. In a pure style and with an eternal length. It blew me away! The grapes are harvested from the upper part of the Schlossberg vineyard. Became even more majestuous in combination with tempura lobster with a deep umami bisque. Perfect marriage.

Sep 1st, 2015A really nice complex mature Alsatian Riesling that is a great wine but generally outshone by the Deiss for the Sakana dinner with Wilson/Mabel 6/18/22. Paired really well with the oyster with foam and the octopus and the ginger!

Jun 19th, 2022Wilson Mabel Marie dinner at Mom. Yellow golden color and oily ripe fruit nose with hints of oxidation. Complex palate firm texture through to long finish. Not popular with others.

Apr 2nd, 2022Really precise Alsatian Riesling. Petrol and dried pears on the nose; green apples, pears and waves of acidity in the mouth. Long finish. Great wine.
